Hehe! The Rugrats just did a spoof of The Wizard of Oz - love it! Am trying to keep busy and amused as my Barnaby Baby went to a new home this morning :( i miss the little guy lots, but I know he'll get lots of cuddles from his new family who seem really lovely. They have a little girl aged 3 and a little boy aged 1 1/2 who were just the cutest things I've ever seen. They have curly mops of golden hair and just melted my heart. Unfortunately my offer of a trade wasn't accepted :( Am feeling a bit clucky. My friend Bevan become a daddy the other day and the pics he emailed of little Connor turned me to mush...not that that's a hard thing to do!
Hehe! Peppa Pig has new red shoes! Yup. I definately have an inner child, and she likes cartoons!
Oh yes, and projection has finally made sense to me. April .I. showed me her way of threading up - bottom to top rather than top to bottom, and it all went - CLICK!
Speaking of movies, I saw Volver last night.

Very, very good. Only complaint is that they could have chosen someone to dub for Penelope who didn't sound so un-Penelope. It was pretty obvious it wasn't her singing. It had a Greek tragedy feel to it which I quite enjoyed. I've loved the Greek plays since 5th form when I did a pretty wicked death scene from the play Medea. And not just any death scene. One with stairs. The best kind! And Penelope Cruz has absolutely amazing cleavage! I wish I had boobs like that!
Anyway, go see it. Yes, it has subtitles, but that shouldn't matter. I don't understand why some people get so put off by subtitles. They miss so many great films.
A not so great film, but one that filled my afternoon today is Dreamgirls. Great music, great costumes, crazy hair......but it's one of those shows which I'm sure works better on stage. I did learn however, where the song I did a cabaret number to in a concert once, came from! Red leotard with sparkly trim and fishnet tights.......Sorry, no photos exist. What a shame (not!)

Right, am off to the gym now. Have lasted longer than I thought I would - yay me! And I actually find that I like going. Who'd have thought!?
